Greens, the restaurant at Tain Golf Club is a real treat for the Highland Golfing Community and its many visitors. Head Chef, Laura Ross and her team work hard to combine classic and traditional Golf Club fare with modern and contemporary specials, such as fresh local Lobster served with a Mornay Sauce, Ross-shire Rack of Lamb served with Minted Mashed Potato and a Rosemary and Port Jus, as well as Soup of the day which reflects the weather outside as much as the time of year, either way, you’ll find them all at very reasonable prices.
Working closely with her local suppliers, Laura ensures only the very finest of local produce is served to our many Members and Visitors as part of their experience of ‘Greens’ and its premier 18 hole golf course designed by Old Tom Morris in 1890.
In addition to the light bite and lunch time menu, Greens offer one of the finest evening and weekend specials menus available within the region, to challenge even the most stringent of food critics so why not take the opportunity to spend more time to enjoy Old Tom Morris’s Northern Jewel by finishing off a most challenging 18 holes with lunch or dinner in the restaurant or bar, with its beautiful views over the 1st tee, the 18th hole as well as the Dornoch Firth and the many hills beyond.
